The RPT Training will rank among the most comprehensive and effective that you have ever experienced. It is an advanced clinical skills training designed for professional therapists who are good and want to get better. You will be challenged to take your current clinical skills and integrate them with new and powerful approaches for teaching clients to identify and manage high risk situations and core personality and life-style warning sign patterns that lead to relapse in the critical early stages of the recovery process.
This advanced clinical skills training experience includes an optional RPT Competency Certification. The training methods will consist of:
- Brief Lectures (Death by PowerPoint will be carefully avoided)
- Clinical Demonstrations of Critical RPT Exercises,
- Small Group Exercises,
- Role Play Experiences to practice and receive feedback on key RPT exercises, and
- Large group discussions.
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to develop comprehensive Relapse Prevention Therapy Plans, for both clients and themselves, for managing core personality (character defects) and lifestyle problems that lead to relapse in latter recovery after initial stabilization.
Many people describe this advanced clinical skills training experience as “a turning point” in both their professional and personal lives. Terence T. (Terry) Gorski will be personally available during the five day training experience for the May and November events.
Training Fee: The cost of the training is $695 for the five day training experience (travel, meals, and lodging are not included in this fee).
